I like this; it's lots of fun. When I get home I will play around with this so that I can use images etc from my home computer.

RSS and Newsreaders

What a great internet tool this is. Everything on the internet is now easier to access. You start by creating a Bloglines newsreader account.

To access the feeds (news) go to www.bloglines.com and log in.

Feeds can also go to your mobile phone and indicate which station has the cheapest petrol for example or you get notified when a bestseller is available in your public library. FANTASTIC!!

With feeds, you choose what information you want and decide where, when and how to receive it.

I will definitely be using this.

Flickr

Luciana teaching us how to make pasta on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I have just discovered Flickr. It's a great way to share photos. If you have a flickr account you can do some amazing things. One of these is that if you are not near a computer (e.g. on holiday) you can take a photo using your mobile phone, email it to Flickr and it appears on the site in seconds. WOW!!

Flickr also allows you to create a host of things including calendars and stamps.

I LOVE IT!!

Blogging

Well after a long break I am now back and into Learning 2.0. I hope to finish the course this time and intend to learn all about blogging, so I can share things with others.
